The problem was with the drivers side rear knuckle on the 2002 aztec. The consumer heard clunking coming from rear when hitting bumps. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who advised the consumer that there was a bushing failure. This caused a forward/backward movement of the driver's side rear tire 1 1/2-3 inches. After further discussion, the dealer would not cooperate in the purchase of the part/labor. The problem is progressive. The vehicle is regularly maintained and service records are available.
