Numerous repairs on this vehicle in the last year. We have had to replace the air conditioner and have repaired at least a half dozen leaks caused by failing seals. We have paid approximately $4500. In repairs in the last 9 months alone and now there is another oil leak. This vehicle has been well taken care of. We were planning to keep this vehicle for at least another year but cannot afford these repairs. Help!! we may as well have a car payment. Any suggestions, besides Toyota or Honda??

The airbag light on the instrument panel stays lighted additionally the horn does not work. This is, in my opinion a serious safety issue and should be corrected by Chrysler. I have read several incidents of this same issue reported on various web sites of these failures so this is not an isolated case and should be regarded as a serious safety issue.

Engine check light comes on due to bad vibration, won't shift into gear, like it's running out of gas. The dealer replaced the oxygen sensor as a possible cause but it wasn't. then, fuel filter was replaced but it wasn't again. Finally, the #3 spark plug wire was replaced and the problem was solved.

The engine locked up on me while driving. The oil pressure light came on and before I had the chance to pull over the engine locked up. According to the owner's manual the warning light will come on for 4 minutes then go off. My engine locked up before the warning signal went off indicating that I had less than 4 minutes to respond. Daimler Chrysler has agreed to pay one half of the repairs costs, however, I feel that the oil screen in the oil pan became clogged as a result of mechanical failure. I have maintained my vehicle according to the owners manual. I feel that this engine design is defective and would like for daimler Chrysler to stand behind thier product by completely paying for the new engine that I had to have. I firmly believe that a 1997 Plymouth Voyager with only 53,865 miles should not need a new engine, when the van has been properly driven and maintained.
