One morning the instrument panel failed to light up when I started it at 5:30 am. I had to get to work, so I drove it anyway. Everything had been working normally when the van was parked the night before. Along with the dark instrument panel (fuel, tach, speedometer/odometer, engine heat, oil, battery), the wipers stopped working in delay mode, though they did work when turned on continuously, the button for the back door lock stopped working and the lock function for the doors also quit, though unlock continued to work. I borrowed my daughter's GPS so I could monitor my speed and filled up more often. This morning, 7 months later, I started the van at 5:30 am and everything works again. Go figure.
