In 15/07/2014 I purchased an Opel Insignia, after 20 000 km, the engine head had to be replaced, due to a manufacturing fault.
After 15 000 km the service center called me, informed me that they have a new software for my car and it will be for free. I agree. I got it there after this software my car not work properly.
After the 20 000 km, I noticed a noise. I took it in to the dealer and was informed that the car engine had to be replaced. They gave me two choices: engine replacement, or pay 45 000 Egyptian pound to have a new one, although my car is covered with 3 years warranty. I had to do the replacement of the engine, because of the big amount of money 45 000 is not fair.
After other 8000 km, the noise was still there. I once again mentioned this to the service manager (07/09/2015) . I should receive the car on the next day as informed, until this date I didn't receive the car. I call the service center every day, they don't know where the problem. There is no response. I want to replace this bad car with a new one.
My main complaint is that: A brand new car driven off the floor should not have so many big problems before it has 50 000 km's on the clock, unless the car was (a)poorly manufactured or (b)poorly designed. I was promised a decent car and was given a machine with endless faults. I want to mention that the service center had sent a fax to Opel Worldwide to get the approve to replace my car with a new one and we got it so that I want to receive a new one.
Please I still wait your response.
