The airbag warning light stayed lit. I took the vehicle to the dealer and they said that the airbag was bad and needed to be replaced, but they would not cover the cost for replacement.

The driver's side seat belt is broken. Also, the vehicle had a electrical short which caused the air bag light to come on. Dealer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and that there was nothing that they can do about it.
