It may have been April 7th, 2009 ... that's when I got my licence and started driving the 99 Oldsmobile Cutlass every day. It may have had this problem before we even bought the vehicle. One of the screws to hold the fake light that fits across the trunk fell off one day while I was driving it, which could have turned into an awful situation if I had been on a busy road or the interstate, was chipped. I think that General Motors didn't think that through at all when they made this vehicle. I've had this car for two years and it's one problem after another and it is getting worse by the day! Do NOT buy an Oldsmobile Cutlass, I'm sure all types suck. I wish my father never bought this car, it has caused us so much stress and is a big inconvenience. It is a money gustler, I can tell you; with as much as you have to fix. The only good thing about it is that it's good on gas and doesn't take too much to fill her up. There are other gas sufficient cars out there, so please DO NOT get this vehicle.
