The door locks wouldn't unlock properly and caused a distraction to the consumer. The dealer was notified. The automatic door locks suddenly and unexpectedly locked when the automobile was placed in gear at the consumer's home, but at the consumer's office the locks did not disengage. GM stated that the wiring and connectors were corroded and shorted the unit.. when the consumer asked what caused the wiring to short out, the dealer stated it was due to the floor getting wet, when there was snow or water on the consumer's feet and the get into vehicle it caused the wiring to short out, and therefore the consumer must not let any snow or water get on his feet.
