I just bought this damn car just 3 days ago and it's really pissing me off! The damn radio stays on even after I remove the key from the ignition and open the driver's door, or any other door for that matter. Also, when I open the driver's door, the dome light does not come on, yet it does come on when any of the other 3 doors are opened - so I know the dome light is not the problem. I bought the car without a remote for the keyless entry system so I have to lock and unlock it with the key (only mentioning because who knows, could be useful to someone who might be able to give me some suggestions to try out). So here is what I have: Factory alarm isn't being used but does exist, dome light does not come on when driver's door opened & stereo stays on when key is removed from ignition and doors opened. Anybody want to buy a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero?? :o)
