I got my 2003 alero in 2004 used with 23,000 miles on it. the first two years were great, then i got hit with a couple problems, first was the fuel pump, had to replace that, then i had a problem with water getting into my car from somewhere in the drivers side support area. we thought it was the windshield, so we got that replaced, and it stopped for a while, then it rained for 3 days straight and my whole fuse box was wet on the inside of the car again. when this first started, i didn't have a working odometer until it was dried out and no working gadgets, its kind of annoying. other then worrying if water is leaking into my fuse box and into my computer again, that was the only problem with my car. We don't know if some cheap sealant worked or not, but so far its not leaked. I also had to replace the weather stripping on both drivers and passengers sides because the glue unstuck from the part attached to the car (75 buck fix each side!) so just another warning...
