definitely annoying
AC / heater problem
This started about four years ago and has gotten progressively worse. At least I still have heat and air but it must be set to high. This issue needs to be addressed.

MY HEATER STOPPED WORKING AND WHATEVER THEY DIDN'T IT FIXED THE HEATER AND BROKE THE AC....NOW THE AC AND HEATER WONT BLOW UNLESS I TURN IT UP AS HIGH AS IT CAN GO...

Another flaw in workmanship on this Alero. Fan only works on settings 3 or above. Guess I can live with this, if it would start regularly, see Fuel pump issues. Now that is a pain!

At first the fan speed works only from the second speed and up, but a year or two later, it only works on the thirds speed and up.

Either its no air or full blast. AC or Heat. But the good news this isn't the worst thing that will go wrong with your car.

Just another complaint on this awful car. For a summary of all my complaints look at my entry under "Coolant Problems" Again, never ever buy this car. GM caused all these problems with poor material and workmanship. All I ever bought was GM vehicles, but no more. Anyway, avoid this lemon if at all possible.

Never had it fixed, but def. inconvenient on a humid day to have to have the A/C or fan at full blast when I only want a little ventilation.
