Alero 2.4L

I've had this issue happen to me where when I hit a bump, like a speed bump, at any speed, my car's dashboard lights up with all sorts of warning lights, starts beeping at me, and the car becomes harder to steer, traction-Control shuts off and the light turns on, Anti-Lock brake light turns on, check engine light turns on, and my security light turns on. This is a MAJOR safety issue because this happened to me on the highway and with traction control and anti-lock brakes shut off, the car became very hard to operate and I had to pull to the side of the road to shut off the car, wait a minute, and turn it back on.

I believe the wiring for the on board computer is loose, but the fact of the matter is that it shouldn't be! The dealerships claims that there's nothing wrong, but it does happen. Not only that, coupled with the fact that I have the turn signal issues as mentioned in another complaint field; I feel like I'm driving a death trap. All I need is for me to hit a pot hole going 55 and my blinkers fail and then I might cause a fatal accident! Never go with American made cars!

I knew there was a reason why I prefer a Toyota over American made! Give me a "trouble free Toyota" ANYDAY!!! I would rather drive my 200K mile trouble free1992 Toyota Celica GT. I have never had such a distaste for GM as I have now!

The flash "tires need maintenance's light" permanently is ON. I don't know what to do about it. Each day, I have to blow up de tires, using a 32 ppi. I can't support the daily cost. Thanks.

Alero GS 2.4L

The stupid "Service engine soon" and "trac" and "anti-lock" lights won't go away!!!! Recently the red "security" light came on thankfully it didn't stay on after we turned the car off and then back on. I know what all of the lights mean. But when 3 different repair shops and one dealership have scanned the car and supposedly NOTHING IS WRONG!!! WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT!!! I'm thinking that electrical tape is going to be the best solution to this problem.

The dash lights will not go off even after I service the car. The tire pressure light stays on and the oil light also. It says in the manual the lights will go off after so many miles but it doesn't. I am going to have to take it to a dealer to see if they can get the lights off
