Just over 2 years old and about 23,000 miles. Engine would crank but not fire, thinking there is an issue with either the fuel pump, relay or both. Local dealer has truck for a few days and reports that the ECM has failed and they need to see if it's under warranty because I have after market head lamps on the truck. Head lamps uses factory mounts and wire harness connection. Then I was told they need to see if the engine was digitally re-tuned or if the computer was tampered with in any way.
I read that several others had issue with the ECM but all had a lot more miles and years then mine, then hearing that shortly after having the ECM replaced they had issues with at least one if not all catalytic converters, if this is true and what I should expect to happen next, this will be the last Nissan product I buy and after this issue is corrected and warranty is over I feel an engine swap is the best way to avoid future issues.
