Door showed signs of advanced rusting. Dealer blamed us for getting a rock chip, here in NM I can see a rock chip, however advanced rust at 250 miles in an environment with zero rain and zero water is not likely. Door has been reworked by dealer. Dealer introduced scratches under the paint or skimmed bondo. Paint is scratched above OEM trim along with a door ding introduced by dealer. Dealer has indicated (800) Nissan can provide resolution. (800) Nissan has indicated can Dealer provide resolution. New vehicle has been at the dealer for 56 days with no end in sight. We bought a new vehicle and do not feel it is unreasonable to expect a new vehicle without defects. Thus far we have experienced over 6 defects with dealer adding a number of defects with their rework procedures. Defects have been tried to be repaired a number of times. Nissan indicates they only buy back vehicle that are not running. This vehicle exhibits sufficient defects it should be replaced immediately. If this is not an option then Nissan can repurchase the lemon vehicle. Accepting substandard vehicle and substandard rework is a non starter. IAW the rules of engagement for this site this vehicle alone will rack up 33 complaints alone.
