Sometime in the winter of 2010 I noticed small rust spots forming on the tail gate and the bumper of my Xterra. I've tried a few rust treatments and it's helped slow the progression, but not much. This is something that will have to be professionally repaired eventually, and the bumper will need replacement. Not impressed.
After seeing this on my own vehical, I've noticed rust in the same areas on many other Xterras and Pathfinders, leading me to believe this isn't just an isolated occurance. Nissan is obviously cutting corners somewhere to make a few more bucks. Big surprise.
