In cold areas/regions like here in Canada you'll have to be sooooo patient with this car as even though owner's manual says it is not necessary to warm up the engine when it's getting cold, engine simply revs and surges and WON'T shift to 2nd gear after 5 minutes of driving. Pretty annoying as you'll have to drive slowly and it'd be dangerous if for some reason you had to accelerate since you wont be able to do so. You've been warned.
