Three weeks after purchasing the vehicle I went to Matt Bowers Nissan because my driver side front window would not go up. The window would cant forward and jam, only the back was rising. They told me I was pushing on the window (I wasn’t) and bent the arm that raises it so it’s not covered by warranty. They wanted over $700 to repair. I went to a non dealer shop with a part I ordered online for $175 and they fixed it for an additional $100.

Three weeks later I was having the same problem. Went back to the shop and they said the arm that raises the window was bent, and the asked if I was leaning on the window when it was partially raised. I informed them I wasn’t but I did raise and lower the window several times a day. They bent the arm back (free of charge) and warned me to be careful of it.

A few days later, while in a drive through, I noticed that the rubber gasket in the door was moving up when the window raised and was binding the window. I cut part of the gasket away and haven’t had a problem since. The only drawback is the window rattles a bit if its completely rolled down, but at least it goes up with no problem now.
