The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while her sister was driving approximately 40 mph, the hood released without warning and obscured the view of the roadway. The driver exited the vehicle and noticed the hinges were twisted and closed the hood. The contact called county line Nissan North (522 winsted rd, torrington, ct 06790, (860) 482-5555). The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 69,300.
