Sway Bar Failure
2013 Nissan Versa
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2012-2017 Nissan Versa has an expensive CVT transmission failure defect that shows up plainly in our complaint data.
In late 2019, the CVT defect was subject to a class action settlement. However the settlement only covers transmission repairs up to 7 years after purchase or 84,000 miles (whichever occurs first).
Because many owners commonly drive 20,000 miles/year or more, Versa owners experiencing CVT transmission problems may find they are not covered by this settlement due to the mileage limitation.

I have had my vehicle to the dealer to check the sway bar a couple times only to be told "they couldn't find a problem". It is a new vehicle, it can't be anything wrong like that", and to have the service manager go on a drive in my Versa with me for him to hear it for himself only for him to agree it is the sway bar. They replaced one stabilizer connecting rod/bushing and lubricated the stabilizer bar bushing and said "no more noise". I could of greased the bushings to eliminate the noise myself, that's not fixing the problem !!!
That was on December 12/14 (and mind you, I have only put on 304 km as of January 20/15 ) and the noise is back again !! I have to drive an hour to get to the dealer and an hour return which is wrecking up my warranty km for them to cobble up something that should be replaced. YES I AM GETTING PISSED !! Now I am getting a vibration in my gas peddle and steering column when I drive. I also have no control of my car when going on the highway, passing large trucks or when the wind blows. I am trying to contact the salesman for a swap trade-in. If I am having these issues on a two year old car, I really don't want it.
