In late 2019, the CVT defect was subject to a class action settlement. However the settlement only covers transmission repairs up to 7 years after purchase or 84,000 miles (whichever occurs first).

Because many owners commonly drive 20,000 miles/year or more, Versa owners experiencing CVT transmission problems may find they are not covered by this settlement due to the mileage limitation.

If this fuse replacement does not fix this problem it's a $700.00 plus mechanic cost to replace the the fuel pump... if this continues even after, it's a wiring issues which is even more costly because you then have to find the wire issue and that's going to be very costly. And extremely dangerouss as this causes the car to stop dead and can cause a serious accident.

In november of 2016 we finally paid off the nissan versa.with only 71000 miles on it i figured i'd have a decent car for work and to teach my 16 year old to drive.In december ,a month later the fuel pump went on the versa.at a cost of almost 700.00.I wrote to nissan and told them about it and received a call from a rep telling me they understand my problem and my frustration but they basically told me it was not their fault.the pump was only was only covered for 3 yrs. or 36000 mi,sorry, but we understand your frustration.i lost all faith in that car and i will not trust my daughter in that car by herself.i will never buy another nissan product.you would think their engineers would design a better pump than that.

The mechanic could not believe the fuel pump died after 55,000 miles. but after all the test to find the problem it came down to the fuel pump. I bought the vehicle used, at the time it had 45,000, now it has just over 55,000 miles. I bought the car in August and by November I had problems. I bought the car because I was tired of paying repair cost. The repair cost totaled $885.40. I bought the car in hopes it would last a long time and not breakdown so soon. I am very disappointed
