I called Nissan and I got no satisfaction - said there were no recalls on this vehicle. Well, maybe there will be now!. I bought the car new and never had a problem. I told them I saw another incident where the same thing happened to a 2012 Nissan Versa. I was told that if you look hard enough, you can find anything!
There is no other reason for a perfectly fine car with only 36500 miles on it to go up in flames unless there was some type of defect!
