Takata recall manufacturer has no answer as to when I will be able to use 100% of my car. I did not purchase a 3 passenger car, I bought the car for use by 4 passengers. In may, I was told early summer. Now at the end of September they are saying "sometime in the fall of 2016". if I cannot safely use 25% of my car for my family, then Nissan should provide another vehicle for our use or some sort of compensation. I called Nissan again today, 09/26/2016 and still cannot get an answer as to availability of the recall remedy.

Takata recall I received a recall notice informing me that in extreme humidity, I live in South Louisiana, the airbag could rupture and cause metal fragments to strike "occupants " in vehicle resulting in injury or death. No parts are available at this time to repair airbag. You cannot assure me that this vehicle is safe to drive under any circumstance. Like other manufacturers are already doing, I feel that Nissan should also provide, at no charge to customer, comparable transportation until vehicle can be repaired. I was denied that courtesy and feel that Nissan is putting money ahead of safety. Please tell me what I need to do to get satisfactory recourse.

My airbag light has been on since earlier this year. I have never been in any accidents. It just came on one day and never turned off. Its my passenger front seat. I'm worried if and when I actually do get into a accident god forbid it won't deploy. I asked the Nissan dealership about it and all they said I could do was to pay $108 to run a test to see what the problem is. I think that's outrageous to have to pay $108 to check to see if there is a potential issue. And then what if its a manufacturer issue am I going to get my money back and car fixed for free??
