On all my door handles and the rear hatch, the clear coat paint is bubbling and peeling off. I was told that the door handles are made out of hard plastics and will dissolve if not taken care of. That means there will be no way to open doors. I have never heard of paint peeling off like this.

I am writing this on behalf of my girlfriend. She bought a 2011 Nissan Versa Hatchback new. About 6 months ago she noticed the paint starting to bubble and peel on the hatch right below the window. When she took her car to the dealer for an oil change she showed this to them. They said since the car was no longer under warranty that they couldn't do anything about it. This is bull. Since then it has gotten worse. It just continues to peel. But to make matters worse, it's not just the hatch. Now there is a spot on the roof right above the windshield that has peeled off and is now rusting. Also on the roof along the rubber strip that runs from front to back on both sides above the doors the paint is cracking. As far as I am concerned the paint job on this car was defective from the factory. If anyone has a solution to this problem I would appreciate hearing it.
