My red indicator light came on. Fog started pouring out of the A/V vents. Mechanic said the heat core system needs to be replaced. The part is $500 and it will take 9 hours of labor. The dealer said it's very rare to have the system go out on such a new car. I called Nissan and they are not willing to pay for the repair since it's not under warranty. How does the heat core system on a car with 43,000 miles break? Nissan should take responsibility for this defect and replace the part at no cost to me.
