CarComplaints.com Notes: Be aware the 2007-2011 Nissan Versa was recalled in the US in May 2016 & July 2017 for defective Takata airbags that are potentially deadly. Many Versa owners have reported problems getting Nissan dealers to complete the recall repair, due to scheduling problems & parts shortages.
If you are considering purchasing a 2007-2011 Nissan Versa, call your local Nissan dealer with the VIN# & ask if the airbag recall has been done.

Here I am again on this site adding a complaint for my 2010 versa. I am at 68.000 KM. I was told by the dealer that my lower control arms needed to be replaced. I don't race in this car and it is nearly impossible to go fast in this car because it is generally a slow car. I really am disappointed that I had to replace this and recently the muffler. I know stuff will go on cars ect but I think that major parts on a car would kind of go later or according to KM normal ware, Glad it is done Though I had extended warranty which covered a portion of the cost but it is an $1,300 range fix. I just hope that this don't happen to you as well that is why i am posting this so people can be aware to check there car over by professionals. I have gotten a wheel lineament which actually really needed doing I suggest that you should get one done prob soon if you have never had one. Best of luck to you versa owners.
