CarComplaints.com Notes: Be aware the 2007-2011 Nissan Versa was recalled in the US in May 2016 & July 2017 for defective Takata airbags that are potentially deadly. Many Versa owners have reported problems getting Nissan dealers to complete the recall repair, due to scheduling problems & parts shortages.
If you are considering purchasing a 2007-2011 Nissan Versa, call your local Nissan dealer with the VIN# & ask if the airbag recall has been done.
I thought it highly unusual to see the uphostery coming off the door arm rests. It was a very poor job, making for a rather raggity looking car. The seller hide it pretty good (we're owner number 3) til we got it home and I open the door and there it is, all the foam, all the plastic, showing underneight the cloth! Wow. Removed the door panels, and wrestled with melted on anchors, blob, blob blob and found the the cloth cover was cut too small to cover very well. Had to screw everything back in place, but definitley looks better. Not too hard but not very easy.
