The chrome/silver trim on the vent and speed odometer reflect onto the window on to where your mirror is located when the sun hits it on a certain angle. This could and can prevent you from seeing out of your driver side mirror causing it to be very difficult to merge onto the hwy or just simply move over a lane ect.
