Same issue with the reflection hitting the mirror. Can be very difficult to merge onto the hwy or just to use the mirror.

NISSAN VERSA sideview mirrors have terrible and possibly life threatening reflection of interior chrome dashboard around vents. When the sun is out the reflection cause almost a complete impossibility of seeing the cars in your mirrors to each side. Corporate and local dealer say they have never heard of this problem. Only rant I have seen online is this site over a year ago, come on people, I can't be the only Versa owner who almost got in an accident on the highway with the problem???

There is as serious safety problem. When sunshine hits the dashboard in the left ventilation exhaust its is reflected in the side window exacly in the position of the external mirror. This reflection blocks the rear view.

The problem starts when Nissan Mexicana change the previous japanese model and move the external mirrors 4 inches to front for the american versa models (sold in Costa Rica too)

The real solution is to change the metalic finish of the dashboard and move back the external mirrors
