CarComplaints.com Notes: Be aware the 2007-2011 Nissan Versa was recalled in the US in May 2016 & July 2017 for defective Takata airbags that are potentially deadly. Many Versa owners have reported problems getting Nissan dealers to complete the recall repair, due to scheduling problems & parts shortages.
If you are considering purchasing a 2007-2011 Nissan Versa, call your local Nissan dealer with the VIN# & ask if the airbag recall has been done.

I drive a normal amount (12,000 miles/year) on well-paved roads, but my tires simply do not retain air pressure. It has been over four years that I have had this problem. In that time, I have replaced and rotated my tires twice, had the car looked at by several mechanics, and have had three different tire centers fix leaks, only to be filling up my tires the next week. Within as little as an hour of filling my tires, I have had the tire light come back on. Tires failing to retain pressure has caused me to drive off road twice in storms, once even hitting a pole.
