We bought this car used from a dealership 2 weeks ago and everything seemed fine. This weekend, we went out of state with it. When we reached our destination and tried to turn the car off, the ignition switch would not turn into the Lock position. We tried jiggling the shifter and the steering wheel to no avail. The engine would shut off, but the car would alarm that it needed to be turned off, and lights were still on inside it. Finally, we had to unhook the battery to stop the car from alarming when we tried to exit it. We had to reconnect and unhook the battery every time we used it and hope that nobody noticed and decided to steal it since we couldn't lock it.
