CarComplaints.com Notes: Be aware the 2007-2011 Nissan Versa was recalled in the US in May 2016 & July 2017 for defective Takata airbags that are potentially deadly. Many Versa owners have reported problems getting Nissan dealers to complete the recall repair, due to scheduling problems & parts shortages.
If you are considering purchasing a 2007-2011 Nissan Versa, call your local Nissan dealer with the VIN# & ask if the airbag recall has been done.

Nissan 2008 Versa while driving on freeway car started to lose power, then shut off, car just came back from dealer not for this problem, but for lose of power in while driving a upgrade hill this car is on second replacement transmission notified Nissan corporate office no answer.
My 2008 Nissan Versa abruptly slows from 60 mph to 30 mph and gradually slows to a stop. This only occurs after I have driven between 70 to 150 miles. It has happened 3 times. Nissan has replaced the transmission and the fuel pump but the car still fails and I am afraid to drive it on an interstate.
