This is a keyless car. There is a red light in the shape of a car on the dash, the car beeps 4 times and the key won't turn, even when I use the manual key (not remotely).
From what I've read online this is a fairly common issue, but mostly with the Altima. This is because few Versa's have the keyless ignition.
I called the dealer, they want $125 just to diagnose the problem. Hopefully, I can get the car started or I will have to have it towed to the dealer.
