Had tire pressure light on ever since I bought the car. Sensors replaced, checked, re-checked and none of the dealer/service department at Nissan could ever get it fixed. It's always been on.

I bought my Nissan Versa SL brand new. I have the alloy wheels. Starting in year two, the tire pressure sensors started having issues. Now, every time the temperature drops 10 degrees, the tire light pops on. It won't go out until I put air in the tires to 35 pounds of pressure, which is over the recommendation on the door panel.

A few days later, the tire light comes on again. Where I buy my tires is an awesome company with a great reputation. They tell me my alloy wheels are getting cracks in them, and this may be causing the tires to loose air when the temperature changes suddenly.

I spend quite a bit of time putting air in my tires every week during the cold months. This probably is annoying, but not as bad as other issues the 2007 Versa's seem to be experiencing.

The TPMS light flashes when the car first starts and continues to flash for a couple of minutes then stays on the entire time you are driving. What a nuisance; you have no way of knowing if your tire pressure is low or not and no one has been able to tell us how to fix it. I heard a rumor it could be a fuse or a short but no one really knows for sure.
