Versa S 1.8L

  • Manual transmission
  • 43,000 miles

At 43000 miles clutch has failed. Dealer wants 2350 to replace clucth. Not covered by warrenty and state that the previous times car was in shop have nothing to do the the clutch failing. They did not pull tranny to see if it was burnt up or failing from some other failure. Filed complaint with Nissan central and they have stated they will not cover it and a tranny and clutch have nothing to do with each other.

Versa LX 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,000 miles

I am fighting with Nissan right now for them to hold up their end of the bargain. The transmission is under the power train warranty and they refuse to fix it saying it was my fault. I have checked around at local repair shops and also online and I keep seeing problems about the same thing popping up on the same year vehicle.

If you are having any Nissan problems, feel free to contact me. I am going to the news with this as the American consumer has a right to know, and maybe we can force Nissan's into fixing their mistakes.

Versa LT 1.8L

  • CVT transmission
  • 6,000 miles

"unable to duplicate" arrrrrrgggghhhh!!!! Every visit results in no codes stored the dealers never had any idea what was wrong until AFTER the warranty expired. Now the dealers want to change out experimental parts and want me to pay for it. Nissan is no help either.
