This problem began YEARS ago. The defogger button would no longer work by simply depressing the button. I found that if I pressed it several times (early in the development of the problem) or wiggled it constantly or held it in place until I was nearly at my destination, it would activate and the defogger would work. Within the last week, it stopped working completely.
