2018 Nissan Titan 4x4 24,240 miles serviced regularly. When I went to cross traffic with family in truck the transmission stalled rpms would stop at 3500 rpm and coasted to median where we avoided a crash! I was able to cross the road and pull into gas station where the transmission finally engaged. After realizing the significance of this issue I called Gainsville Nissan and spoke to manager. It was Sunday and Service was closed. I called my father for quick research and he advised disconnecting battery when we could.
We drove approximately 60 miles to reach destination and each time the RPMs went past 3500 the stall occurred had to pull off I75 until transmission reengaged and then very slowly drove under 3500 rpms. We arrived at destination and took off lead to battery for 10 seconds and the problem resolved. Unfortunately its not a hard code and Nissan dealer is communicating with Nissan Corporate.
