Bed Welds Voluntary Service Campaign
***** Campaign Summary *****
Nissan is conducting a voluntary service campaign on certain 2017 Titan vehicles to repair the right and left hand bed side rails. Due to a manufacturing issue that has since been corrected, the welds between the mating materials on the side rails of the Titan truck bed may not meet Nissan design specifications. In extreme conditions, deformation to the bed could occur.
***** What Dealers Should Do *****
1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm I.D. PC577
- New vehicles in dealer inventory can be also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign).
o Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information
2. Dealers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Dealers should use the following campaign repair bulletin to remedy any vehicles subject to this campaign: NTB17-075
4. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.
