2016-2017 TITAN XD; MIL ON WITH DTC P0604 AND/OR P2299
This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with a Cummins 5.0L V8 Diesel engine.
IF YOU CONFIRM
The MIL is ON with one or both of the following DTCs stored:
- P0604 (ECM [Internal Control Module Random Access Memory (RAM) Error])
- P2299 (ACCEL PEDAL POS BRAKE SWITCH)
And
There are no drivability issues.
ACTION
1. Save Computer Data with CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus).
2. At step 6 of the reprogramming procedure (page 7), confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on.
3. If this bulletin applies, continue with reprogramming.
4. Write Saved Data with C-III plus.
