2016-2017 TITAN XD; DELAY WITH RE-ACCELERATION
This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with a Cummins 5.0L V8 Diesel engine.
IF YOU CONFIRM
Re-acceleration delay as follows:
- Driving at a moderate steady speed, then
- Reduce accelerator position to slow down, then
- Increase accelerator position to bring the vehicle back to the previous speed, then
- There is a delay/hesitation before the vehicle begins to accelerate.
ACTION
1. Save Computer Data with CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus).
2. At step 6 of the reprogramming procedure, confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on.
3. If this bulletin applies, continue with reprogramming procedure.
4. Write Saved Data with CONSULT-III plus.
