I bought a new Nissan Titan from granite nissan in Rapid City, sd in August of 2017.. I noticed on the test drive that the dash lights were dim and some of the gauges were difficult to see. I really liked the truck so on the condition that the dash lights would be repaired by the dealership, I took it home.
I took it in and left it for several days only to come back and find the lights were the same as when I left it. The dealership said that they had asked Nissan how to make the repair and got no response. I then contacted Nissan customer and was asked once again to return it to the dealership for analysis. I once again took the Titan back to the dealership. I then received a reply from Nissan saying that the lights were working as designed and no fix was needed. I still cannot see my temperature gauge, gear shift indicator or any other reading that should be visible during the day. At night it's ok but I drive mostly in the daytime! I'v made an appointment with an automotive electrical repair service and they ASSURE ME that the small amount of additional illumination required will be no problem.
