The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that after reversing out of a parking space, while depressing the brake pedal, the brake pedal went to the floorboard. The contact was able to bring the vehicle to a complete stop by engaging the parking brake and shifting the vehicle into park. After a visual inspection, the contact observed a hole in the driver's side brake line. The traction control and brake warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 21,000.
