The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V067000 (Air Bags) which was linked to the failure. Additionally, the contact stated that the air bag warning light was illuminated, and the horn was inoperable. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, where it was diagnosed. The dealer determined that the clockspring had failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 285,000.
