As I backed into a parking spot I proceeded to try to switch from drive to reverse to straighten out and the lever went floppy. I am stuck in drive with the emergency brakes engaged. The wires under the column shifter wore at just the right time to what appears would be the clock spring!!

Noticed a small fluid leak under my car, it looked like radiator fluid. I took the vehicle to my local Nissan dealer to check it out. When the Nissan technicians investigated the leak they informed me the leak was from the seams of the radiator and the radiator required replacement. I was told that this is common and routine wear and tear for Nissan. The 2009 Titan has just over 41,000 miles and is only driven on paved roads. It has no off-road mileage. I do not believe a properly designed radiator should leak from the seams after 6 years and low mileage.

After driving for 20 minutes with the cruise control previously on and set and still on but not activated, I momentarily applied the brakes at approximately 45mph then lifted my foot from the brake pedal while approaching a red light that had returned green the truck began to rapidly accelerate on its own without my assistance of applying the accelerator pedal. Quickly recognizing the unintended acceleration situation I immediately applied the brakes and was able to regain control of the truck without incident. I have taken a photo of the instrument panel within a few minutes of the unintended acceleration capturing vehicle operating conditions during the incident. Very dangerous situation that could result serious injury or death. Vehicle information should be downloaded from onboard computers right away. Please identify where the download should take place.
