The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Titan. While driving 10 mph, the contact realized that the exhaust manifold became very loud when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The contact drove the vehicle to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the exhaust manifold needed to be replaced. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was out of warranty and nothing could be done. The failure mileage was 102,000.
The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Titan. When the vehicle was stopped the contact noticed an emission like odor coming through the vents on the front passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technicians stated both manifolds were cracked and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 116.
