The manual shift function (button on shift lever) stopped working so I can no longer manually downshift in to a lower gear (for going down hill or towing). In talking to others with the same problem, there is a wire in the lever that breaks, causing this function to fail. The fix is quoted as a very expensive $650.
This should clearly be a recall item as it is definitely a safety issue.
