Systems controlled by the BCM began failing. Turn signals, lights, break lights, key-less entry all malfunctioned at various times. Took the vehicle to the dealer for evaluation, dealer said the BCM was bad, they replaced the BCM and said the fault conditions still existed. They determined the main rear wiring harness had shorted where the harness is routed over the axle. Not only does the harness go over the axle in this location... IT'S ROUTED THROUGH THE F-ING WHEEL WELL!!!!! EXPOSED TO EVERYTHING that comes off the right rear tire, Titan owners look for yourselves. Titan owners, this harness, if shorted can disable your break lights, turn signals, lights, flashers, all those safety systems. This harness is hit with everything coming off your right rear tire (sand, snow, water, ice) every time you drive. This is a major design defect and all Titan's with this harness routed in this manner should be recalled the damage done to the jacket should be repaired or the harness replace and the harness should be rerouted.
I called Nissan USA and brought this defect to their attention and requested a refund of the $1632.84 I paid to have this repaired. NISSAN said there was nothing they could do for me since my vehicle was out of warranty. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN!
