The front radar sensor is(was) located right up front in the open where it can get damaged. A small stone chip (the size of a pin head) has caused the system to quit working. This is a $1500.00 repair that is NOT covered under the warranty or the extra extended warranty. I see that it could possibly cause the cruse control to shut down. They have since moved the sensor behind the grill where it is better protected in the newer models. Nissan says they do not cover road damaged parts. This is the first and last Nissan I will EVER own.
