- Accelerator Pedal Quality Assurance Hold Nissan is committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction. This commitment requires Nissan to periodically place certain specific vehicles on a temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold to assure that these vehicles, as delivered to our customers, meet our exacting standards and our customers? expectations. Effective immediately, Nissan is placing a temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold on approximately 4,066 specific MY2017 Sentra (B17) vehicles. Nissan has learned that specific accelerator pedals may not be manufactured to specification and is investigating this concern. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles currently in dealer inventory are affected by this QA Hold using Service Comm I.D. PM666 Note: Dealers should continue to check new arriving inventory for QA Hold applicability. 2. Please do not drive, sell, or trade the specific 2017 Sentra vehicles in Dealer Inventory subject to this QA Hold. 3. No further action is necessary at this time. Nissan will provide an update by February 3, 2017.
