CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2017 Nissan Sentra has an expensive CVT transmission failure defect that shows up plainly in our complaint data from the earlier model years in this same 7th generation Sentra.
Because many owners commonly drive 20,000 miles/year or more, Sentra owners experiencing CVT transmission problems may find they are not covered by this settlement due to the mileage limitation.
Took the car to the dealer before my extended warranty was up. The dealer said I needed new tires and the transmission needed to be rebuilt. I did not even know I was having transmission problems but the dealer said the transmission was losing pressure and that eventually it would fail completely. Had to pay $500 for new tires. Transmission was still under extended warranty.
I’m being ripped by APlus transmission trying to make me pay $6100 for a rebuild transmission in that car.
I just paid that Raggedy Ass car off and now the f*cking transmission is shot to hell !!! This 2017 has been A Pain in my Ass since Purchase in 10/17/2017 , Central Nissan in Houston , knew this sh*t ass car was worthless on purchase and yet they had A sucker !!! Me this Ass hole 2017 was damn near 27,680$, for a piece of nightmare at my damn expense. So much much for doing the right thing anymore. It’s dog eat dog , literally out here now. I'm really pissed about the $106.35 paid to GIRARD - they didn't fix my car and now same s*** over AGAIN, calling for a tow truck, and paying $100 deductible, but being without my car.
