While driving 50 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The vehicle was merged to the side of the road and failed to accelerate until the economy mode was turned off. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. Car jerks, shakes, vibrates.
Car starting jerking and came to almost a complete stop out the blue at 136,000-138,000 somewhere in between don't exactly remember. The first sigh something was wrong with car was the RPM would just go up high out of blue while accelerating which was dangerous ad just comming to a stop out of nowhere. We called around trying to get issue fixed but noone could help cause there was no light on in car to see if anything was wrong. Check engine light just came on as of today 10/11/2019 for first time ever at 141,000 and car stops doesnt pull. Does on highway, interstate and while turning.
It seems that something is wrong with the transmission. When at a stop and starting to take off it stalls then jumps into gear and it trembles at take off.
My 2013 Nissan Sentra had no known problems, and I had no icons on my dashboard that something needed attention... no check engine light, no check transmission light..none. And when I had taken my car to get an oil change, my car had no serious issues. And just recently as I had my foot on the break because I was parking my car's engine turned off, , but the radio was still on. I attempted several times to turn on until it did, but as soon as I shifted to reverse or drive, the engine would just turn off. And now my car turns on but makes a weird noise like something is dragging, but engine remains on, and every time I shift to drive or reverse my car turns off. Iv'E purchased my car new back in 2013, and it only has 73,000 miles. I don't drive long distances too often or get on the highway too much. I work about 20 minutes away from work with traffic. I have done my oil change at my Nissan dealership and nothing ever came up on their multi inspection. I just don't know what is wrong with my car.
While driving my 2013 Nissan Sentra fe + S on hwy and even inner city streets it seems to stall and loses power I need to know exactly what to do to make it safe to drive my vehicle if there is a way to take it back to a Nissan dealership to have it checked

Total trans mission failure 2 times. Once at 60K miles, covered under extended warranty. I went in before warranty was over and complained about my transmission. They ran a test and said it was fine and sent me home. Told me that was the way it drives and it's fine. I dont even think they drove it or they would have known what I was talking about.
I just purchased this car last year the reason I bought this car because of good gas milage and transmission. I have buying Nissan since 1993 and right now I have 2 Altima 1 Sentra 1 quest every other car is doing good except Sentra I have transmission problem its not changing the gears and ac is not blowing cold air. Please help me out with these issues because I still have 4 more years of payments and knowing Nissan cars they usually go to 200K without major problems.
My car stalls when accelerating from a slow down or stop.it start the end of 2016 but it was once every few weeks. I took it to the Nissan dealership in oxford ms in 2017 and had it tested and was told nothing was wrong with it. It is much worse now. It use to be a couple times a month at first now it happens on at least half of the accelerations from being stopped or slowed especially if you try to accelerate quickly. I have read about other cars having this problem. The have issued a bulletin for it to be tested and repaired at my cost. This should be Nissan's expense plus any damage it has cost with me driving it this way for 50,00 miles after they said it was anything to be fixed. This is going to get someone killed. This started at 52,000 miles now it has 99,000 miles it was tested at 56,000 miles.
Vehicle is in motion and transmission suddenly stops pulling. I was on a us state highway with many vehicles behind me. Within 18 miles the transmission stopped operating 3 times resulting in me working to get my car out of the way of other traffic. Vehicle has low mileage.
My car would start to jerk as I was driving, I went and got it looked at and the auto zone guy said it was the voltage regulator in the alternator so I had that fixed, then the motor mounts had to be replaced. After allthat it was still jerking and it is my alternator. I drove my Nissan off the lot with 298 miles on it and the transmission is slipping. I called Nissan and they said they would not cover it because im at 101K miles even though I have the security +plus contract and there is a stipulation with kentcuky. There should be absolutely no reason as to why a 6 year old car is having so many issues all of a sudden. It literraly started a month ago and is due to be paid off in July. When I pull off from stationary sitting it jerks, once I coast to a good speed around 50mph and up then it wont jerk but hesitates and my RPM gauge jumps up and down.
The car jerks and shakes when driving and completely stops on the freeway when driving several times, car stopped in the middle of the freeway, door on driver side also does not close properly. Took the car to Nissan dealer in montclair metro Nissan in California, they stated its the transmission and is in service right now. Big safety hazard.
WE BOUGHT OUR DAUGHTER A NEW 2013 NISSAN SENTRA. IT WAS SERVICED REGULARLY AT OUR NISSAN DEALER. ON OCTOBER 18TH, MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING HOME FROM A FRIEND'S HOUSE ON LOCAL STREETS. SHE SMELLED FUEL, THE CONTROLS ON THE DASHBOARD WENT HAYWIRE AND ALL SYSTEMS ON THE CAR STARTED SHUTTING DOWN. SHE PULLED THE CAR OVER, PUT HER EMERGENCY BRAKES ON, TURNED THE CAR OFF AND GOT AWAY FROM THE CAR. SHE WATCHED AS HER CAR WENT ON FIRE. WE NOTIFIED NISSAN AND THEY TOLD US THAT BECAUSE THEY FOUND NO MANUFACTURING DEFECTS, THERE WAS NOTHING MORE THEY COULD DO. HOW DOES A 5 YEAR, WELL MAINTAINED, 48,000 MILE CAR JUST SET FIRE WITH NO WARNING" HOW WAS THIS VEHICLE NOT PART OF THE MARCH 2013 RECALL? HOW CAN NISSAN NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS? MOST IMPORTANTLY, HOW CAN THEY NOT GIVE US AN ANSWER TO WHY MY DAUGHTER'S CAR SET ON FIRE? IS THIS USUAL? IS THE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF A CAR ONLY 5 YEARS NOW? I'm a dealer, I bought this car at an auction. When I test it it goes into reverse and drive easily but when I drive it, it sticks to the first gear! bad transmission
The cvt transmission is the problem. The car keeps shaking everytime I drive it, when I start the car the car turns off if not driven in a couple hours. When I go in reverse the car turns off also. The tranmission was overheating. The cvt has problems.
