AC Leaks Water Into Cabin
2013 Nissan Sentra
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2017 Nissan Sentra has an expensive CVT transmission failure defect that shows up plainly in our complaint data.
In late 2019, the CVT defect was subject to a class action settlement. However the settlement only covers transmission repairs up to 7 years after purchase or 84,000 miles (whichever occurs first).
Because many owners commonly drive 20,000 miles/year or more, Sentra owners experiencing CVT transmission problems may find they are not covered by this settlement due to the mileage limitation.

When I brought the car to the dealer the dealer said the part would be there on the 10th. When I called on the 10th the dealer said the part was on back order. Really, a brand new car and they don't have parts! Not only that they did not offer to loan me a vehicle until the part arrived. I have gotten a sinuis infection from the AC draining into the car. I now have a loaner (it's th 22nd of July, only 15 days after I reported the problem). The dealer is now saying the part should be here by the 26th. That is absolutely insane. So now that I have had water draining into the car since I bought the car at the end of May, the dealer is going to replace the damaged AC part and then replace the carpet. What piece of mind does that give me, not any.
